Dr. Swapna has completed her MBA and PhD from the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology. Prior to starting her career as an academician, she has worked as a HR Generalist and is currently an accomplished academician with over 19 years of experience in the field of Higher Education. She is one among 5 in Karnataka to complete Post - Doctoral Research from the INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CHANGE (ISEC), Bangalore. Recently she has been empanelled as an assessor for National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

She is currently Professor and Principal, Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies, Bengaluru. She successfully completed a funded project for a Chinese multinational company in China. She was invited to attend an education summit in Thailand as an Indian representative. Her work on community development for HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA was published in the TIMES OF INDIA in 2003.She has to her credit over 6 certifications ranging from Technology leadership from Harvard which she is currently pursuing to Managerial Economics from IIMB.

Dr.Swapna has presented more than 31 papers in International Conferences including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Thailand) and 20 papers in National Level conferences. She has to her credit 15 paper publications. She has delivered various invited talks. She has served the academic community in varied capacities as Member of the Board of Examiners and Board of Studies, Paper setter in various Colleges and Universities. Dr. Prasad Linganna


Dr. Prasad Linganna has a total of 34 years of work experience, which includes 24 years in the industry and 10 years in academics at Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies (RIMS). He teaches subjects such as Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Consumer Behaviour, Business Environment, Sales, Logistics Management, Technology Management, Managerial Leadership, and Management Information Systems.


He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University, a MBA degree from ICFAI University, Tripura and a PhD degree in Management from the University of Mysore. He is also a Certified Blockchain Expert.


During his long stint of 24 years in the Industry, Dr. Prasad Linganna has worked in a multitude of industry segments such as Computer Hardware, Computer Networking and Set Top Boxes. Prof.Srinivas Prabhu


Srinivas Prabhu is currently working as Assistant Professor at Ramaiah Institute of Managament Studies. Prior to this he was working for KPMG as a Senior Audit Associate in Bangalore for 2.8 years. He pursued his Masters’ in financial analysis in Seshadripuram College, Bangalore. Currently he’s pursuing his AGMP (Accelerated General Management Program) from IMT Ghaziabad. He’s is a passionate public speaker, best in his communication and analytical skills and also is a career development trainer. His passion lies in writing articles, travelling and working with several service organisations. He was also the President of Rotaract Club for the year 2017 and currently serving as a member of Rotary International. He has presented several research papers and won several best paper awards for his research paper presentations in national seminars and conferences. He was also a part of the Youth Exchange Delegation Program representing India at the parliament of Srilanka sponsored by Indian foundation for Global Peace Education. Prof. Karthik S V


Karthik S V is an Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting area at the Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies (RIMS), Bengaluru. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. He did his masters in Finance at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology affiliated to VTU and bachelors in Finance from Seshadripuram First Grade College, Yelahanka affiliated to Bangalore university. His teaching interests span the fields of Business Statistics and Analytics, Operations Research and Management, Accounting for Managers, Financial Management, Project Appraisal, Planning and Control, Corporate Valuation, Taxation. His current research focuses on financial inclusion of third-gender: A pivotal path to comprehensive economic development and addressing gender equality through economic empowerment. In a series of working papers, he is exploring the inclusion of third-gender under the ambit of banking.  Karthik was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of MBA at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Dawn and UGC CARE. He was invited as a resource person for the workshops on Business Statistics and Technicality of Operations Research. In his previous assignment, he has organised management cum cultural fest “VISTA” to promote and address the importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for post-graduation students. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. Program in Human Resources from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru.

He is currently a visiting professor at the Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies, Bengaluru. Prof. Srikanth Payal has around 25 years industry experience and 12 years of experience in the field of Higher Education. Prior to this he was Associate Professor and Head – Corporate Relations and Placements and the Ramaiah Institute of Management, Bengaluru.
